Step 2: Freshen up the IG account
Freshen up the IG account
Today is a big day! In this first step, we are going to freshen up your Instagram account!
As a new coach, you want to display yourself in a way that people can clearly see who you are and what is important to you! If you had a storefront, you would put things in your windows to attract potential customers to you, but in network marketing your social media accounts (facebook, Instagram, etc) are your storefront windows! It is so important to have a positive presence on social media so that you can attract followers, share your story with them, and offer them something they will find valuable and encouraging.
Begin by watching this video
Please watch this video from Vanessa Lau. She is not a Beachbody coach, but rather an IG business strategist. She shares some great tips on how to be intentional about how you present yourself on social media. Take good notes while watching this video so that you can apply what you’ve learned to your own IG account!
Updating your IG handle
Handles like @crazycatlady2345 or @kyrstinec_23436 are not very memorable and don’t look professional. Try using your full name, your team name (if you have one), or something more memorable and easily searchable! Take a look at some of the examples below.
Updating your IG bio
Your bio is the short list right below your name. This should reflect who you are and what you offer! Take a look at some of the examples below.
Updating your profile pic
Good pictures are very important! They should be bright, happy, and clearly you. You profile picture offers people their very first impression of who you are, so make it a good one!
Here are some samples, don't copy them, but feel free to use them for inspiration if needed:
